SPECIMENS is the brainchild of Alex Ives, whose previous incarnation Time Brings Age had a release on Dog Knights Productions featuring an excellent remix by the mysterious Greg RoM aka Greg Less. Yes, that is your truly.

SPECIMENS is a slightly more abstract affair, with vocals, drums, strings and electronics all weaving their way around each other in a strangely euphoric way. 'Social Gatherings' reminds me of a fuzzy, more distorted UK version of I Break Horses, and the two share lyrical themes judging by Alex's Time Brings Age work.
